Freedom of choice

Freedom

You will hear it in the words of my podcast below, but even more so after this weekend, what is firmly on my heart this week (as it is mostly these days of course!), is freedom.

As I spent the last two days with so many likeminded people, I was reminded how our choices right now are everything. We may feel that we are having limitations put on us left, right + centre, and that life may be a bit trickier for those of us who choose a particular way, but ultimately we do have choice, and with that comes freedom.

Whichever way we are choosing right now, that choice alone is freedom. For some of us the freedoms we used to experience may be limited, at the moment, but the biggest feeling of freedom we can experience right now is standing in our truth, and standing really strong in that. Many are making choices because they feel they have to, and although that may grant them some physical ‘freedoms’, really are any of us free at all when we are going against our truth? The answer to me very clearly is no.

A forced hand does not equate to a free being. A strong hand, stable with conviction, no matter what, equates to freedom…because it is freedom at a soul level, and nobody can ever take that away. Each day presents the chance for more knowledge, greater community, and a deeper knowing of truth. Each day that passes our inner freedom can, and is, growing. We have been presented with this incredible opportunity right now, that 18 months ago we would have never even conceived: the opportunity to know what we stand for, to feel it to our core, and to claim it for ourselves + those that we love.

This is what it is to be alive. No more distraction. This is what it is to truly be free.
