The Mothership - an evolution
When I first created The Mothership, some of you may remember that I had a great deal come up for me emotionally, as I was presenting her to the world. She came to me to bring her into the world, but it wasn't until I was in the process of doing so, that I realised that she was me, and by sharing her, by asking other women to join her world, I was laying myself out to full scrutiny + rejection.
In so many moments I wondered if I could do it - if I could lay myself bare in that way. I knew though that if I didn't, I wouldn't know what else to do in terms of how I would move in my work during these times, because nothing is more important to me than holding space for women in this way in these times. I had to dive in, and trust that whatever she was meant to bring out of me, she would, and that it would be needed + well received. Because if I didn't then I would have just sat at home without purpose, and living in our purpose is what is needed more than anything right now.
So in November 2021 the adventure started. 25 women joined me within Her world. It has become what I dreamt it would be: a safe + loving community of women who are committed to reconnecting to themselves, and their deeper purpose, first + foremost through their connection to Mother Nature, through growing their own food + foraging for food in the wild. In our community calls, and in our private group chat, we have shared wisdom + quiet whisperings, we have held space for tears + questions of all kinds (gardening, homeopathy, and much more beside), and we have held each other accountable for what we want to achieve, under the three pillars of Food, Finances + Family.
In February we welcome in new members, but last week I told the women already in her walls that I felt very protective of what we have created so far. It is a very open minded, loving, connected group of women. A trust + a bond has started to form amongst us, and as such those who will join us must come with the right intention + commitment.
I know some of you told me last year that you were going to be joining in February. I hope so much that you do. You will if you are a woman who is ready to no longer live in fear. You will if you are a woman who is ready to step out of her comfort zone and claim what you know is your truth, even if you have hidden it for so long. You will if you are ready to be with other women who are no longer willing just to ‘fit in’ because to ‘stand out’ felt scary. You will if you have an open mind + you are ready to embrace a community of other likeminded women.
I will send more about Her over this week, but I have left this window to join short for a reason: I know it won't need a long period for those who are ready to join us to decide. Last year I spoke about her a lot. Many of you will know her already. For those who are new here, I trust you will feel if she is right for you or not, without much more than these words above, and a peek at her homepage below. I am not here to convince anyone - if she speaks to you, she is ready for you - we all are. The main question has to be: are you ready? I hope so: the world needs you to be.
